JedidiYah: "Deuteronomy 4 lays out who a son of Israel is, and through the Torah, I began to understand who I was; YHVH said He would scatter the Sons of Israel throughout all the nations of the world. Over time, the Sons of Israel would mix with all people through marriages, and they would essentially represent a melting pot, and we would completely lose our identity as we became like the nations worshiping their gods.
